DETAILED ITINERARY
DETAILED ITINERARY
At 8 – 8:30 AM: Start your journey between 8:00 – 8:30 AM, as our professional guide and driver pick you up from your hotel in Da Nang to begin your scenic and cultural exploration of central Vietnam. The first stop is the iconic Marble Mountains, a cluster of five marble and limestone hills named after the five elements: Metal, Wood, Earth, Water, and Fire. You’ll explore Water Mountain, the largest and most accessible of the group, known for its caves, pagodas, and panoramic views.
Next, enjoy a breathtaking ride along the Hai Van Pass, famously called the “Ocean Clouds Pass” for its dramatic curves and coastal scenery. From this winding mountain road, you’ll admire views of Lang Co Beach, a pristine stretch of white sand and crystal-clear water nestled between the sea and the mountains.
Around 12:00 PM, you will arrive in Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam, and enjoy a delicious local lunch.
After lunch, your cultural adventure continues with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, once the residence of Vietnam’s last royal family—the Nguyen Dynasty. Walk through grand gates, royal halls, and centuries of imperial history within these ancient walls.
Next, head to Thien Mu Pagoda, also known as the “Heaven Fairy Lady Pagoda.” Located peacefully on the northern bank of the Perfume River, this sacred pagoda is surrounded by lush gardens and vibrant flowers. In the late afternoon, the gentle ringing of its bell echoes across the river, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere.
End the day with a relaxing Dragon Boat cruise on the Perfume River, allowing you to soak in the tranquil scenery as the sun sets. After the cruise, our driver will meet you at the boat station and drop you off at your hotel in Hue City, concluding an unforgettable day.

First, explore the Khai Dinh Tomb, a striking example of the fusion between Eastern and Western architecture. The tomb, adorned with intricate mosaics and sculptures, offers a glimpse into the grandeur of Vietnam’s imperial history.
Next, continue to the peaceful and poetic Tu Duc Tomb, set within a large pine forest and surrounded by lotus ponds. This tranquil complex features palaces, temples, a royal theater, and a lake—reflecting Emperor Tu Duc’s philosophical approach to life and his appreciation for nature. Here, architecture blends harmoniously with the landscape, making it one of the most beautiful tombs in Hue.
Afterwards, you’ll stop at a traditional conical hat and incense making village, where you’ll experience local life and even try your hand at crafting these Vietnamese cultural staples. This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with artisans and take home meaningful handmade souvenirs.
Your final stop is the Minh Mang Tomb, known for its majestic layout and perfect architectural symmetry. Surrounded by lush gardens and lakes, this tomb reflects both Confucian principles and imperial dignity, offering a peaceful atmosphere steeped in history.
